A Cine Lens, Reconsidered

Sometimes a tool’s intended purpose is not necessarily the best way to use it.

At least, that’s what I told myself in an effort to rationalize my first experience with the Zeiss 50mm/T2.1 CP.2 Makro-Planar Cine lens. While by no means a bad lens, it happens to lack the one critical feature that tends to distinguish cinema-grade glass from its smaller, less expensive photographic cousins: a telecentric design. Silicon Valley Comic Con

Rumored to be the biggest event in Downtown San Jose ever, Silicon Valley Comic Con comes back to the San Jose Convention center and we will be there covering the event. We hope to see Grant Gustin (CW’s The Flash), Astronaut Buzz Alrdrin, many leading tech companies as well as artist such as Drew Struzan (Hollywood’s World renowned Movie Poster Artist) If you see us please feel free to say hello!

Creating Sound for Virtual Reality

Virtual reality technology is on the rise, and increasingly becoming more and more accessible to people everywhere. Never before have content creators been able to be so intimate with their viewers, showing the most immersive depictions of their vision.

Before VR, visual media lived within a flat screen, with guided attention. A director spent time and effort setting up one shot to capture the detail and message of each scene.

Make A Splash!

With such a heavy importance placed on sports in our society, it is hard to go through the day without seeing some sort of athletic advertisement during your daily routine. Our days are cluttered with phrases like “just do it” and “is it in you?”, but it is often the images – not the words – that resonate with viewers. B.Co Creative Agency 1 Year

Our first year has been a great learning experience. Along with the 1 year there were a lot of first that happened in year one.

Collectively we shot our very first VR Scenes.

We inducted our first dedicated sound designer / music director.

Our first charity event in helping children during the holidays.

We here at B.Co will continue to build. There were and will be many more first in year 2 we are sure!
