Sometimes a tool’s intended purpose is not necessarily the best way to use it.
At least, that’s what I told myself in an effort to rationalize my first experience with the Zeiss 50mm/T2.1 CP.2 Makro-Planar Cine lens. While by no means a bad lens, it happens to lack the one critical feature that tends to distinguish cinema-grade glass from its smaller, less expensive photographic cousins: a telecentric design.
